Schoology allows you to configure your notification preferences to receive email and mobile notifications when there is activity. This includes group or school updates that you are a member of, or when a personal message is sent to you. You will not receive Academic notifications from your child’s course(s), such as course updates or when new course content is posted, as parents are not course members.

  1. On any Schoology page, click the triangle to the right of your name.
  2. Click Notifications.

  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Under the Group, School, and Personal headings, turn On/Off email notifications as desired. If you are using the mobile app, there will be a second column to configure mobile notifications.
  5. Click Save Changes.
