Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that removes the ability for students to access the internet or any materials on their laptop while taking a test/quiz within Schoology.

Confirm you are logged into Schoology at https://schoology.yisseoul.org. If you are not logged in at https://schoology.yisseoul.org, you will receive an error message and will be unable to take the quiz/test. If you receive an error message, you must logout of Schoology completely and log back in using the correct URL: https://schoology.yisseoul.org.

  1. Open the test/quiz and select Start New Attempt.
  2. Launch Application.
  3. If blacklisted applications are running, click Kill these applications.

If any additional Respondus windows pop-up in front of the test, simply close them and begin.
